On the cover of Woodcarving magazine for the third time! This time with a lovely picture of my boy doing some carving with me. He was pleased to see his picture there.
This issue of woodcarving magazine I also write the opening letter for the issue (always a fun bit), I got to interview am amazing carver from America called Bob Yorburg, and I carved up some vegetable fridge magnets (more about them in another post).
I also have an article in Woodworking crafts making another compost bin. This time quite a bit smaller! A fancy one in the shape of a WBC Beehive.
Always fun seeing myself in print, and reminds me sometimes how long the cycle is, as I'm sure I interviewed Bob in March or April!
Keep up the good work Kev. It must be very satisfying to have wooden things around you that you have carved or made yourself. Unlike me, you didn't just think about it - you actually did it and you are still doing it. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Cover Boy! Page 3 next....
ReplyDeleteDang! I should have gotten your autograph before you got so famous! Congrats, Kev! You deserve the notoriety!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I have ever made a magazine and only have made a newspaper a handful of times in the Editorial section. So congratulations on the many articles you have produced!
ReplyDeletecongratulations.
