Old Fashioned Toolboxes For Sale

It's been a couple of years since I've had these in stock, but I was really keen to make and sell them again and manged to get a batch done in time for Christmas (just).

I think a "classic" wooden tool box takes some beating. They look great in a potting shed or greenhouse, handy enough to hold what you need. In fact they're cheap enough to have multiples with different tasks separated up into different toolboxes.

I build them with reclaimed pine, the sides are rebated into the ends, giving a strong simple joint that is glued and pinned together. The base is then rebated into the bottom and the handle morticed into the sides for extra strength.

Then I brand them and give them a coat of linseed oil to seal them.

You can find a link to buy them here

What type of tool box do you like to use?

    1. I seem to find anywhere between 7 and 12 items is the sweet spot for me to make up batches of things depending on how complicated they are to make. Althgouh that said sometimes 2 is more than enough of one thing!

    1. Thank you! The first batch all sold pretty much straight away so this is the second batch. Hopefully I'll be able to keep these in stock going forward.
