Stressed Rocket/Arugula

This weekend, the Boy and I planted out the last of the plug plants I started a at the tail end of summer.

The Rocket (arugula across the pond) looked particularly stressed. The red leaves in the tray are a sure giveaway. I tried to plant them one seed per module but you know what it's like. Never quite works out like that!

I stood and planted them while the Boy separated them up for me. Ripping out all but two plants then taring the module in two if it needed it.

It's interesting comparing them to the plants I put in the greenhouse two weeks ago. They were from the same tray and were just the same colour, but two weeks in the ground has done them wonders. Plenty of room for them to spread their roots.

Hoping this will give us an early flush come the spring. But it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.

Who else leaves it too long to plant things out? I can't be alone here!
