Hi Kev, saw this thought you might like this mans you tube. He is restoring a Akiya in Japan. its very wordy but it is a relaxing watch and the craftsmanship is out of this world on the Akiya. (p.s. Great to have you back! Not crazy yet - or not any more crazy than normal. That's a great video, I was listening to the building sustainably podcast and there was a great one on traditional Japanese earth plastering - I think you;d enjoy that series of podcasts, they cover so many interesting subjects. There was a great one about sand and shortages in the future as well
