Okay, if you squint your eyes you can see it for what it is, although I'd say it's more Megablocks than Lego - for our middle child's 7th birthday! Where does time go?
Six years have past since my infamous "Philippa" pig cake (Peppa's pigs drug addled cousin who had fell on hard times) englishhomestead.com/2014/12/nailed and it still gets brought up at every birthday...
At least you tried, I had a little giggle at Peppa too.
ReplyDeleteI laugh every time I think about it!
DeleteKev your candles have the shine of a 4" wire nail - and wire nails have for some unexplained reason fascinated me since childhood. My garage always has a bucket of nails on a shelf. I personally know of no other cakes made and iced by fathers. You tackle bold subject matter.
ReplyDeleteHaha, the candles are an Aldi special.
DeleteAs for tackling th ecakes I rememeber making my first one for a playgroup on the rota.
Striking cake ,Kev.
ReplyDeleteDo I remember You saying that you had extra plastic lids for bottling, that you want to sell ? I have just run out of the standard size. I still have the larger ones.
Still plenty of tomatoes in the tunnel. The pale yellow ones will probably continue till xmas
