Making An Insulated Pantry Door

The pantry project is moving forward!

I've decided to upgrade the door to this storage room. What I want to make sure is that the kitchen stays warm and the pantry stays cool. Having a door with insulation in it and having it well sealed will help me do this.

This video is quite carpentry based but shows how I went about making a new door. Not traditional construction but hopefully a few will find it interesting!

Let me know what you think.

    1. My brother has a wholesale account. They're Sliverline to be honest but I got a couple to see what they're like and they seemed great. Have a huge collection of them now.

  2. Absolutely. Nice job! We have very little cold storage here... in fact I've given up and am just buying root crops now.
Good to see a post from you.

    1. My potatoes have just been feeding the slugs here by the looks of it. I need to put in far more effort with root crops next year.

  3. I'll be looking back on the rest of your pantry design - thinking of doing something similar in my kitchen when we get round to refurbishing it. I do like your magnetic tool storage.
