Three years seem to have gone in the blink of an eye!

He's developed into such an amazing little human. Full of curiosity, a wicked sense of humour and a little air of mischief about him.

He is always willing to help me and jumps at the chance to do any activity that I'm doing.

He can also walk like a little trooper, we did a walk on the hills last weekend that must have been well over three miles and he pretty much ran the whole thing!

We've had a great chilled out day with him, a few friends round this afternoon for a little party and lots of songs and dancing.

Oh, be still my heart! Don't you wish you could "freeze" all three of them right at this age? Until you decided it was time for them to move on to the next delightful stage? Unfortunately, those first eight or so years go by so very quickly. I've said it before, but will repeat myself. You and your wife are giving your children such a wonderful start on life. Happy Birthday to your little man!
ReplyDeleteThey are at such a lovely age. It amazes me how well they get on as well. Yes they fight, but most of the time they're looking out for each other, each morning when the girls go to school I say "look after each other" and I know they do.

ReplyDeleteMe and my wife talked about it yesterday. Such a rapid start in the world but something we're both so proud of and what an experience to share, makes you feel like you can do anything!
DeleteHappy Birthday to your little fella. Grandson Jacob will be 3 in May they are so cheeky but gorgeous at this age and you are right about time flying by.......it goes quickly at your age but just wait until you are passed 60 then it speeds up even more!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't feel like it could go any faster to be honest! He's such a character, I love this age and love how much he loves being with me. He knows his own mind though and there's no convincing him once he's decided something.

ReplyDeleteThey are all so cute Kev and so lucky to have you in their little homesteading lives. Our children did indeed grow up fast but these gks are growing even faster. Soon we'll be grandparent to number seven! Keep them close, enjoy them every day, even the tantrums, because they go by the wayside...overnight.
ReplyDeleteThey're such a tight little pack, I love it. Be a while until I have grandkids but I'm sure it'll come more quickly than I'll realise.
