If You Were A Carpenter...

I stumbled apon this on the internet somewhere and it made me laugh so i thought I'd share it.
I've no idea how old this is but you've gotta love a bit of Norm Abrams.
Which profession rocks your world?

  1. Yes, I do love Norm cause my hubbie is so like him. Bearded and super hard working. Now about that clutter issue...the best thing we ever did was move from our 3000SF farm house into our 680 SF grain bin. After living without so much of our junk for over a year, now going through some of it in storage, it has become VERY EASY to pitch or give away. It is amazing how little we truly need.

  2. Oh carpentry most definitely, I admire anyone who has the skill to work with wood and make a really good job of it. And vets yes, anyone who cares about animals can't be all that bad. Gardeners, wildlife film makers. And scientific boffins, even if I can't understand what they're on about it's just the total enthusiasm for their subject that I love. Yes, you can keep the investment bankers, and the rest of them!

  3. I would love my dear hubby to have more skills with wood rather than just being able to screw bits together, wood is such a tactile medium, with loads of grains and colours.

  4. Personally I object to being lumped in with flibidy-flubedy-patchouli-perfume-artistes and over-paid brats that pass for athletes today. LOL

  9. Honeyman was working in commercial construction when I met him. Just out of the Marines. All those muscles and a super cute hiney :O). Carrying and hanging sheet rock all day ya know :O).... 32 yrs later he still floats my boat. He is in management now with the same company, still a hard working guy. He is right now building me a super cute garden shed I saw in a photo and showed him... I am so excited! We really need a place to put all the garden tools and garden stuff. Then we can organize the garage and barn once it all out of there and in its own place. We are working hard on getting organized and cleaned out around here!

  10. My husband has a PhD in Classics, a Master's in Theology, speaks 4 languages, plays guitar and loves learning. I think intelligence and a real love of learning is a turn-on. His newest thing is learning leatherwork. Yep, kindness, compassion and intelligence...that's pretty sexy in my book.

  11. Ha, I appreciated the joke) But it`s funny as long as it will not break the table in the house or wardrobe. When I was looking for a good carpenter https://youdo.com/india/mumbai-services/repair-renovation-services/carpenters/ than as anything else. Cuz, I was at my brother's house and didn`t know how to call a carpenter in another country.
