Outnumbered

Or soon to be! 
Soon to be two big sisters! 
A couple of you already guessed what my exciting news was going to be but I'll tell you all anyway - Baby number three is due on the 8th of January! 
We're both really excited and my wife is saying that this definitely will be the last baby (but we'll see if I can persuade her on that one further down the line!). We had the 12 week scan yesterday and everything looked good so now it's just a waiting game. 
The downside is I'll have to go back to work full time for 8 months but its a small price to pay in the long run.
Better get started on that extension I think!

      Yeah, I'll have to go back work from jan till september over maternity leave. I'll go back to being a stay at home dad then though.

    Congratulations, my husband's birthday is 8 Jan. Thank you for your kind comment on my blog.....husband is a bit obsessive about his veg plot! Good to know that you regard Fiesta as a good apple....I researched quite a bit before choosing this one, as we're novices when it comes to tree fruit.

    Congratulations Kev and Claire, great news. The girls will be so excited too, I think you've got some ready-made help on hand there for when you go back to being a stay at home dad. Will you show us the scans? I hope for Claire's sake and the world poplulation size that you will stop at 3 though....

    Absolutely fantastic news, congratulations to you all.

    I would have thought it will be nice to go back to work for a few months, and I think it's brilliant that you can swap roles so well, and it can only be really beneficial to your daughters to see this wonderful example of shared parenting. They'll be expecting a lot of their husbands in future those lovely daughters of yours.
